Water tanks

Do you have old leaky water tanks? Or maybe just need more capacity? We are preferred installers of a range of water tanks and can help you select the best size, shape and specification for your requirement. Water tanks are typically made from Concrete or Polyethylene. Some can be partially or fully buried underground, they come in a variety of colours and can be made long and slim to fit in tight spaces.

Capacity ranges anywhere from 1,000 to 30,000 litres. The common factor with all tanks is that proper site preparation and installation is very important to ensure that the tank warranty is not voided. Best done by a professional! Concrete water tanks

The major benefit of a concrete tank is that you can bury them completely. Underground water tanks are out of sight and out of mind – you can lay your lawn over them and enjoy your unobstructed view.

Plastic water tanks

Plastic tanks are more versatile than concrete tanks. For a start, you have more size options. You also have more choice about where to place them, as they can be pushed into position; something you can’t do with a concrete tank, so if you need more flexibility, a plastic tank is a good choice. Not sure which tank is right for you? Give us a call and we will gladly share what we know.

Underground water tanks

Water tanks can take up a lot of space in your backyard, so a good solution is to bury your tank underground. On a new build, you can create space by putting the water tank under the deck or the garage, creating space for a garden.

We can make sure your underground stormwater tank, detention or retention tank is carefully installed. We have extensive experience working with various local councils and have detailed knowledge of the specific requirements that must be met.

Detention tanks

After all the storms we’ve suffered, local councils now often ask for detention tank water systems to be installed for new builds or renovations. These tanks hold rainfall water which reduces the impact on public stormwater systems. The water hitting your roof is collected and dumped into the detention tanks. This water is then slowly released into the main drains, relieving pressure on the systems during a storm. These detention tanks come in all shapes and sizes and can be placed above or below ground.

Retention tanks

Retention systems are very similar to detention systems but have the added benefit of allowing you to reuse the water that it collects from your roof. You can put that rainwater to good use by watering the plants, washing your car, or using it in the washing machine.
